The Practice is pleased to provide patients with access to its     
Clinical System via a Secure Web Interface.

To use SystmOnline you will need a Practice ID number and Access ID number which 
is obtained from the practice, and, in conjunction with a password, will be unique to you.

Practice History

Carisbrooke Health Centre opened in 1996 and is situated in a large Georgian building on the outskirts of Carisbrooke. The building was previously used as a Convent. Historically it was Carisbrooke Manor and is mentioned in the Domesday Book.

Opening Times

The surgery is open from 8.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday for appointments. We do have specific appointments available from 7.30am, four days a week and after 6pm. Please ask reception.

Disabled Access

Wheelchair access to the building is via a ramp near the front entrance. A bell is positioned to the right of the main door for anyone requiring attention or assistance. A disabled patients' WC is provided to the right of the reception desk. All major rooms are on the ground floor with low level handles. If access proves difficult to any of our disabled patients we would be happy to consider any suggestions for improvement.

    Carisbrooke Medical Centre and Dower House Surgery are set to merge this Autumn – to help improve and sustain our services to you in the long-term. NHS Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has approved our formal merger from October 1.     Evening and weekend appointments now available

    Improving access to general practice: evening and weekend appointments now available Patients who are registered at this practice can now book an appointment to see a GP or nurse on weekday evenings (after 6.30pm) or at the weekends (on Saturday and Sunday). Appointments will take place at another NHS setting nearby. Talk to the practice receptionist to find out more or book an appointment. By March 2019 everyone in England will benefit from access to general practice appointments in the evenings and weekends at a time that is most convenient to them. This is part of a national drive to help improve access to general practice and get the best possible outcomes for patients. Further information is available at www.england.nhs.uk/gpaccess
